帽身使用羊毛混紡毛氈布，表面帶細微絨感、質地紮實，比一般棉帽更耐看也更有季節感。
前片NSC標誌同樣以毛氈材質裁製後貼縫，與帽身形成同材質、不同層次的對比；後方金屬扣環可調整頭圍。
黑、紅、綠、深藍四色，配大衣或針織外套時最能看出材質的分量，是秋冬造型收尾的實用配件。
